Guided meditation for sleep will provide you deep relaxation only when you choose the right one. I say these because not all guided meditation maybe appropriate for you. There is no one size fits all.
So find an experienced teacher who is right for you. A good teacher will use suitable words and music to guide you through the whole process step by step.
That’s definitely a good way to get started.
Once you gain some experience you need to gradually become independent and meditate on your own. I mean without any kind of support. What do I mean by that?
Please read on to find out more. In this article, I will tell you everything you need to know about guided meditation with a special focus on sleep.

He falls down so many times in the process, right. Now you decide to hold his hands, so that you can support and guide him little bit. This is exactly what guided meditation is my friend.
Meditation is about making your mind quiet through the practice of silence. When your mind is quiet you sleep better, no rocket science.
But when you start out you may want someone to hold your hands and support you little bit, right. Just like a child needs little bit of support while learning to walk.
So in guided meditation, an experienced teacher uses suitable words and music to guide you to experience deeper relaxation. Something to bear in mind though, the goal of meditation is the attainment of a silent state of mind.
There are different types of guided meditation out there. So pick the one which best serves your purpose. Everyone is different so there is no good or bad.
Again I want to highlight this to you: At some point soon, you need to meditate without any guidance – no words, no music. Just meditate in silence maybe use a ‘Mantra’ at intervals to guide you back to silence.
The idea is to meditate without the use of any noise. That’s what the masters and yogis do. Most people don’t realize someone’s words and music can also become noise in meditation.
